Olney Theatre Center Summer STOCK
Olney Theatre Center Summer STOCK is a one-of-a-kind theatre arts program for students in grades 4-6 (rising). Students will work with Olney Theatre artists daily, taking classes in acting, singing, dance, and playwriting. At the end of the two-week session, students will perform their music, choreographed dances, and original short plays to be shared with their families upon completion of the camp.
Olney Theatre Center Musical Theatre Intensive
Olney Theatre Center Musical Theatre Intensive is for students in grades 7-9 (rising). Working with Olney's best musical theatre performers and teachers, Musical Theatre Intensive students will hone their individual singing, dancing, and acting skills, while crafting a unique musical theatre review that showcases their growth and skills. At the end of the two-week session, students will perform a piece devised from music they chose, incorporating some of their original stories to be shared with their families upon completion of the camp.

The Summer STOCK and Musical Theatre Intensive schedule is Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 2:30pm, with a 1 hour break from 11:30am-12:30pm.

SUMMER STOCK AND MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE SAFETY FAQS
How many participants are admitted into each session?
Each session will be limited to 20 participants.
Will Olney Theatre Center offer Before and After Care?
No. Before and After Care will not be offered this year.
Where is participant pick-up and drop-off?
Morning check-in and drop-off will happen outside the 1938 Original Theatre. At pick-up, a staff member will wait outside to ensure kids get in the correct car.
Where will the final performance be held?
The final performance will be held inside the 1938 Original Theatre! Performances will occur at 2pm on the final Friday of each session.
Where will lunch breaks be held?
Lunch breaks will take place outside on the Omi Pavillion when weather permits. Indoor dining locations will be specified inside the 1938 Original and the Roberts Mainstage lobbies.
Will there be anyone else in the building where camp is held?
Access to the building will be limited to students, teachers, and requisite Olney Theatre staff only.
What is the vaccination policy for camp participants?
All camp participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and received the latest booster in order to be a part of one of our theatre camps.
Do you require proof of negative COVID test?
There are no COVID testing requirements; however, we do ask that if your child does not feel well, please do not bring them to camp.
What is your mask policy?
Masks are optional for students, parents, staff, and teaching artists.
Will participants be screened prior to entering camp?
Yes. All participants will receive access to an online Symptom Self-Check that will need to be completed no more than 24 hours prior to the first day of camp before entering the building.
Are your teachers fully vaccinated?
Yes. All teachers and Olney Theatre Center staff are fully vaccinated and boosted.
