Book National Players
National Players is on hiatus from Winter 2023 to Summer 2024 so we can work on exciting plans for the program. Please check back later for more updates.
National Players is a self-sustaining touring company with an ensemble that tours multiple shows around the United States. We’ve gone to New Mexico, South Dakota, Florida, Vermont, Kentucky, New York, and everywhere in between. We tour our shows in repertory, which means that any of our productions are available at any time during our touring season between October to May. It’s even possible to book different productions at one time.
National Players performs for a diversity of audiences from students to the general public, the elderly, and even the incarcerated. We visit all types of venues from performing arts centers to opera houses, lecture halls, school auditoriums, and more. We love it when we’re the first encounter a child has with Shakespeare, and we love it when we get to return and spend more time with communities. We offer post-show discussions and educational workshops for all age groups, skill levels, and abilities in addition to our performances.
Education and Outreach
In addition to performing, national Players also offer educational theatre workshops for all ages, from young children to seniors. Each member of National Players is a skilled teaching artist and can cater the workshop to the age, skill levels, and abilities of the students. Our workshops can be integrated and applied to most curricula and can be done inside and outside the classroom. Workshops last for a minimum of 45 minutes, and are best with groups of no more than 30 people.
Please see descriptions of our current educational workshop offerings on this page. If you are interested or have more questions, please contact info@nationalplayers.org.
