In accordance with the Executive Order issued by Governor Hogan and for the health and safety of our audience, artists, and staff, upcoming performances of The Amateurs and Judy Moody and Stink are canceled.
Performances of The Humans will be postponed and new dates announced as soon as possible.
Pending further developments, revisions to the performance schedules for 2 Pianos 4 Hands and Pippin are possible and we will share those schedules when available.
Our 2020-21 Season will be announced as soon as changing schedules allow.
Ticket holders for canceled performances may receive credit to be used on a future Olney Theatre Center production or convert their purchases into a tax-deductible donation to Olney Theatre.
To do so:
Fastest method: Email boxofficesupervisor@olneytheatre.org with the order number on your ticket or confirmation email.
Alternately, you can also call our box office (301-924-3400), but please note that its hours may be irregular until further notice as we attempt to establish remote phone service.
The Box Office window will be closed until further notice. Please do not come to the theatre.
Because of the large volume of requests, we ask for your patience and generosity as we attempt to sort out this unprecedented situation.
Please check our website and social media accounts for information, new stories, and entertainment to help us through this challenging time.
Other things you can do to help us:
- Make a donation to help carry us through this difficult time.
- Purchase a gift certificate. Show us you're looking forward to returning to Olney Theatre whenever performances resume by purchase a gift certificate that can be used on any of our programs.
- Support TheatreWashington's "Taking Care" fund that provides emergency resources to members of the DMV theatre community. While OTC continues to employ its full time staff, not every theatre is able to do so, and many independent freelancers have nothing to fall back on.
