Disney's Frozen

Disney has asked a select few regional theaters to take a shot at their own productions of this animated classic, and it’s no surprise that Olney Theatre Center got the call! Just as we’ve done with other Disney favorites like Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast, our production will deliver everything families love about the adventures of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf, along with a unique production you won’t experience anywhere else. Sesame Street’s Alan Muraoka (proprietor of Hooper’s Store and director of Olney Theatre’s South Pacific and Once On This Island) directs our biggest musical ever. So get your tickets early; this promises to be a show so epic you won’t want to “Let It Go.”

Tony Award winner John Rubinstein (Pippin, Children of a Lesser God) stars as President Dwight D. Eisenhower in this candid and fascinating fictional eavesdropping on the 34th President at his Gettysburg, Pennsylvania farm. It is 1962 and The New York Times Magazine has published its first list ranking the American Presidents in order of greatness, and poor Ike is ranked 22nd of 31. Enraged at being called “mediocre,” he mounts a defense of his life and career - his Kansas upbringing, his decorated Army career, his victories in World War II, and his two terms as President – contemplating the qualities and adversities that make an American President great. Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground is adapted from a vast array of General Eisenhower's memoirs, speeches, and letters animated by a bravura performance by one of our great actors.

What separates Paul Morella’s version from all others is its faith in Dickens’ singular genius, by sticking to his original text for 99% of this acclaimed solo performance. All-Access Membership FAQs and Policies
When can I begin taking advantage of my membership?
Once you have purchased of your membership, you will receive an email confirmation that will give you a special link that will allow you to initially begin booking tickets. The next day you will be able to login to your account to make ticket reservations and/or purchases without needing to use the link.
Can I let someone else use my tickets?
No. Your membership is non-transferable. If your tickets are in use, you must be in attendance. If you are unable to come on your performance date, please call or email the box office and let us know so we can either exchange you into another performance or release your seats.
Is there an exchange fee if I need to change my dates?
No, members do not pay ticket exchange fees.
How do I cancel my membership?
The all-access membership automatically renews on the 15th of the final month of this quarter’s membership period. Not planning on renewing? You can cancel your membership by
- Emailing boxofficesupervisor@olneytheatre.org by the 10th of the final month in this membership period
- Filling out the cancellation form sent to the email you used to place your order. This is sent on the 1st day of the final month of your membership period.
Unless you provide written notice of cancellation, your all-access membership will renew on the 15th (or the first following business day, should the 15th fall on a weekend) in the final month of this quarter’s 3-month period.
Please note that the cost of your membership will decrease when you renew. The July - September membership is more expensive because of the volume of programming during that period.
Are there other member benefits and discounts?
Yes. Save on food and drinks at Joe's Players Club, Paul's Place, and at our Gift Shop in The Room. You also get discounted member prices on any additional ticket you purchase. Behind the Scenes programs are also always free to members and include conversations with directors, designers, journalists and other experts that deepen your experience of the productions you see.
