Yoga by Design Peace: Honoring Fela through Honoring Ourselves: Cultivating Empowerment and Integrity Within
Fela Kuti was an empowered activist and musician who used his voice to speak up against the injustices against Nigerians. This 45-minute yoga class will embrace “Soul” (Kriya) Yoga, using the poses, movement, attention, and breath to connect with our true self; the true self that reflects God, which resides in the Soul. It is from that place that we can speak up authentically, empowering ourselves and others to continue the powerful legacy of Fela, with integrity and freedom in mind, heart, and body.
All are welcome and Kriya yoga is accessible to all. Bring your own yoga mat.
