    Trio Sefardi

Trio Sefardi is dedicated to bringing the vibrant past into the living present and to continuing the musical traditions of those who created and sustained Sephardic song traditions over the centuries. The trio draws on experience in folk music and jazz, early music, and the influence of their mentor, the Bosnian-born Sephardic singer/composer Flory Jagoda, a 2002 National Heritage Fellowship honoree. Former Washington Post chief music critic Ann Midgette praised the group’s “lovely and luminous performance of Sephardic songs.”

  • Music Pilgrim Trio

There is nothing ordinary about the Music Pilgrim Trio and their music. Vladimir Fridman (guitar, vocals), Seth Kibel (clarinet, flute, saxophone), and Bob Abbott (contrabass) combine a wealth of experience and virtuosity with a fearless improvisational spirit. With smiles on their faces they combine influences from a myriad of musical genres -- Klezmer, Jazz, Russian, Classical, Latin-American music, and more! If the audience has half as much fun as the musicians themselves, everyone will have a fabulous time.
