Stoopkid Stories is a compilation of fun, and exciting stories. You follow 7 young Black characters every episode, as they face a new adventure and will have to overcome different obstacles dealing with their friends, family, school and community. Each story has a lesson and will hopefully spark conversations in households, schools and playgrounds all over the world.
Melissa Victor

Melissa is a NYC based actress, born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She has been seen in many regional theatre productions in the DC Theatre area such as "The Wiz" at Ford's Theatre, "In The Heights" at Olney and "Wig Out" at Studio theatre to name a few. Within the past year, Melissa has taken on a new endeavor by creating a children's story podcast called Stoopkid Stories. The podcast features stories about 7 Black children going through everyday life dealing with everyday kid things. Her podcast was recently nominated for two Black Podcast Awards and has been featured in many publications while repeatedly hitting the top 50 charts for Kids and Family Podcasts. Melissa's love for arts and desire to always uplift the youth follows her in everything she does. She always finding new way to combine her knack for teaching with her artistry to give back and inspire the young artists coming up behind her.
