Grades 10-12
August 5 - August 16
9:30 am - 2:30 pm
$800

Olney Theatre Center Summer Audition Studio is for students in grades 10-12 (rising), who are interested in pursuing theatre in college and beyond. With one-on-one coaching and group training, students will build their audition repertoire, by choosing and working on monologues, songs, and even getting dance call experience. They will learn the tips and tricks to succeed in auditioning for their high school musical, college admission, or the local regional theatre whether the audition is in person in front of a crowd of people or submitting a self-tape online. At the end of the two-week session, students will perform one of the pieces of their choice along with a group dance to showcase their skills and talent on Friday, August 16 at 1:30pm. So we can get a guess of where everyone is at the start, we are asking students to come in with a monologue and solo song of their choosing to be performed on the first day. It can be a monologue from their favorite play or TV show, a song from a musical, or the latest favorite pop song. More details will be sent closer to the start of camp.
