As part of our celebration of Sleepova, we’re sponsoring a morning of stories at the Olney Public Library. This is a free family event appropriate for all ages, especially toddlers, preschoolers, and young children. Books to be read are chosen with the help of the Olney librarian.

About the Reader

Kike Ayodeji is a Nigerian American actress born and raised in Maryland, where she fell in love with storytelling as an art form at a young age. As a young girl, she would borrow tons of books from the library to read her way into a euphoric world where the characters became real and relatable. This love for the art of storytelling and imagination would spill over into her adulthood and sparked her passion for acting.

Throughout her acting career, Kike has been blessed to be featured in several short films, plays, and commercials. Recently she appeared in the award-winning, Abbott Elementary as a Young Teacher. Another notable project she appears in includes the Emmy award-winning short, Riverment. Last year Kike won her first award, "Best Supporting Actress" for her emphatic performance as Katie in the short film “Ms. Davis' Close Friend”.
