Michael Bobbitt (Director) directed and choreographed at DC’s top theatres including Arena Stage, Ford’s Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre, Olney Theatre, Studio Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Center Stage, Roundhouse Theatre, Kennedy Center, and the Washington National Opera.  His national and international credits include the NY Musical Theatre Festival, Mel Tillis 2001, La Jolla Playhouse, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Jefferson Performing Arts Center, and the Olympics. He has taught theater and dance at George Washington University, Catholic University, Howard University, and the Washington Ballet.

Tara Jeanne Vallee (Choreographer) Thrilled to be back at Olney Theatre Center, where she choreographed On the Town earlier this year. Previous Olney credits: Mary Poppins, The Producers (Helen Hayes Award nomination for Outstanding Choreography), The Little Mermaid, Triumph of Love, Annie, and The King and I (Helen Hayes Award nomination for Outstanding Choreography). Her choreography has been seen on Broadway with Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, and on the National Tour/Grand Ole Opry productions of Cirque Holidaze, where she also served as Associate Director. Daniel Ettinger (Scenic Designer) returns to Olney Theatre where his credits include, Annie, Bakersfield Mist, The Piano Lesson, Mary Poppins and Labour of Love. He is the resident scenic designer at Everyman Theatre Company in Baltimore, MD. Past season productions include The Revolutionists, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, and The Book of Joseph. Regionally he has worked for Woolly Mammoth, Imagination Stage, Rep Stage, and The Barter Theatre Company, among others. Recent NY credits include The Patterns at Pendarvis at HERE Theatre Center. Daniel is a member of the design faculty at Towson University, and United Scenic Artists, local 829.

Kendra Rai (Costume Designer) is pleased to be back at Olney Theater Center, where she designed Proof, Hay Fever and The King and I. Kendra received the Helen Hayes award for Outstanding Costume Design in 2012, 2015, and 2018; and in addition has been a nominee for the award nine times. Kendra’s work has been seen at Round House Theater, Adventure Theater MTC, Opera Lafayette, Synetic Theater, Constellation Theater, New Victory Theater, Theater J, and Imagination Stage.  Kendra is a Princess Grace Honorarium recipient, and holds an MFA from Pennsylvania State University, and is currently teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University, and has held teaching posts at Howard University, University of Pittsburgh and Gallaudet University.
