Join Rayshun LaMarr as he celebrates music that inspires people to be free, to be happy, and to shine featuring Motown, R&B, and inspirational music.

Born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Actor, Singer, and Song Writer Rayshun LaMarr discovered his talent for singing at the young age of seven. His love for God and music led him to sing in the church. It was when his family moved to Washington D.C. that Rayshun was able to attend the acclaimed Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Upon graduation, he attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia as a vocal jazz major and minoring in classical music.

After graduating, Rayshun went on to appear in stage productions and tours around the U.S. He also partnered with “SoundConnection” and Lucy Black Entertainment. Life changed for Rayshun in 2012, when he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. During his fight against cancer, he temporarily lost his hearing and voice.

In 2018, Rayshun LaMarr made it all the way to the semi-finals of season 14 of NBC’s “The Voice”. Since then, he has performed at NFL half-time shows, NBA opening games, and stages nationwide. During the pandemic, he released three singles, “Time 4 Change”, “Can’t Hold Back”, and “Still in Love”, which are available on all streaming platforms. Currently, he is working on his debut album.
