Prince Gomolvilas (Playwright) is a Thai-American playwright whose plays include Big Hunk o’ Burnin’ Love, a groundbreaking comedy about a Thai-American family; The Theory of Everything, which won a PEN Center USA Literary Award for Drama; Mysterious Skin, a stage adaptation of the Scott Heim novel; and The Brothers Paranormal, a critically acclaimed ghost story that’s been produced across the country and published by Dramatic Publishing. His work has also been performed in Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, and Thailand. His theatre-for-youth shows have been touring elementary, middle, and high schools for nearly 20 years. He is a former Assistant Professor of Writing at the University of Southern California, and he received an MFA in Playwriting from San Francisco State University. Hallie Gordon (Co-Director) Senior Associate Artistic Director, most recently worked as Director of Artistic Development at Kansas City Repertory Theatre, where she produced and dramatuged the world premiere of Ms. Holmes and Ms. Watson in Apartment 2B by Kate Hamill, Flood by Mashuq Mushtaq Deen, and started a new playwrights residency program "American Crossroads", commissioning Native-American Playwright Mary Kathryn Nagle as the inaugural playwright of the program. During Gordon's tenure as Artistic Director for Steppenwolf for Young Adults, Education Director, and Artistic Producer, she programmed and commissioned Eve Ewing's book of poems 1919 adapted for the stage by J. Nicole Brooks, she has also commissioned/dramatrug/directed the following World Premiere productions at Steppenwolf Theatre: Lydia Diamonds The Bluest Eye, and Harriet Jacobs; Markus Zusak's The Book Thief adapted for the stage by Heidi Stillman, Animal Farm adapted for the stage by Steve Pickering and Alice Austen Lawton; Monster by Walter Dean Myers adapted for the stage by Aaron Carter, Sandra Cisneros's The House on Mango Street adapted for the stage by Tanya Saracho, HIR by Taylor Mac, The Rembrandt by Jessica Dickey and many others. As a freelance director she has worked with Writers Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Goodman Theatre and Rivendell Theatre Ensemble in which she is a proud ensemble member. Hallie has created and facilitated many educational programs including the nationally recognized Young Adult Council. She is the recipient of The Helen Coburn Meier & Time Meier Achievement Award.

Jeannette Christensen (Costume Designer) Is a Helen Hayes winning costume designer, illustrator, and fashion stylist based in Baltimore, MD. She has most notably designed costumes for the Broadway national tour of On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan 2022-2023 and the national tour/world premiere of Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! 2019. She has designed for many theaters including The Kennedy Center, American Players Theater, Oklahoma City Rep, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Theatre Festival, Folger Theater, Gala Hispanic Theatre, and OLNEY THEATER CENTER. She has been an associate designer with The Muny, Roundhouse Theatre, Wolf Trap Opera, and Studio Theater. She has worked as a costume designer/mentor with Arizona State University, University of Maryland, Bowie State University, American University, and George Washington University. Jim Steinmeyer (Illusions Consultant) was called by The New York Times the “celebrated ‘invisible man’—inventor, designer, and creative brain behind many of the great stage magicians.” His illusions have been featured by Doug Henning, Siegfried and Roy, David Copperfield, Ricky Jay, and many others. He created the special illusions for Broadway and West End shows, including Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin. He is also the author of books on the history and practice of magic.

Robert Ramirez (Illusions Instructor) is an Illusion designer and creator for magicians and theaters all around the world. He's created magic for Justin Willman (Magic For Humans) and Mary Poppins right here at OLNEY THEATRE CENTER. He's worked on regional productions such as Carrie, Damn Yankees, Seussical, and many more. Robert is also a performer himself being a favorite at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and starred in the national tour of In The Heights.
