Evan Ruggiero (Beast) began dancing at the age of five in his hometown studio and by age ten, he was accepted into the famed New Jersey Tap Ensemble. Upon entering his sophomore year at Montclair State University while pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, Evan was suddenly diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer of the right leg. Enduring nine surgeries in a six-month period in an effort to save the leg, the cancer returned more aggressively than the original diagnosis. He was faced with the ultimate decision of amputation in order to stop the cancer and save his life, as well as undergoing chemotherapy for sixteen months. Eighteen months after the amputation, and only two days after receiving his “peg-leg”, Evan was tap dancing again. In 2018 he received a Drama Desk Nomination for Best Actor in a Musical, a Chita Rivera Award Nomination for Best Dancer in a Musical, and was awarded a Clive Barnes Award in Theatre for his portrayal of Tom Jones in NYC’s off-broadway hit “Bastard Jones.” Evan has been seen performing at Carnegie Hall and at the 90th Oscars as well as performing for many notable individuals such as Ellen Degeneres, President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Egypt’s sixth and current president, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and most recently performing alongside two-time Grammy winning artist, Jason Mraz. Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Director) is a director & choreographer nominated for Tony, Drama Desk and Astaire Awards for her “stirring & lovingly staged” Broadway/Kennedy Center revival of Ragtime, for which she also won the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Director. Dodge’s bold new approaches to classic plays & musicals include OLNEY THEATRE CENTER’S productions of Disney’s Beauty & The Beast and Once The Musical;  110 In The Shade (Ford’s Theatre) ; Evita (Drury Lane & Riverside Theatres); Meet Me In St. Louis, Disney’s The Little Mermaid (The Muny); The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time (St. Louis Rep & Cincinnati Playhouse); The Secret Garden (Cincinnati Playhouse & Center Stage); and Smokey Joe’s Cafe (The Muny & Drury Lane/Jeff Award for Best Revival.) Dodge choreographed  the exciting premieres of Maltby & Shire’s Closer Than Ever (Off- Broadway), William Finn’s Romance in Hard Times (Public Theater) and directed Sherlock Holmes & The West End Horror co-written with husband Anthony Dodge. For television, Dodge appears as herself in Disney+ Encore! (Episode 1: Annie & Episode 12 Ragtime) and choreographed an Emmy- winning episode of Sesame Street-The Tango Festival and Elmo’s Wild West video. Josh Walden (they/them) was the Associate Director/Associate Choreographer for the Tony Nominated Broadway Revival of Ragtime and was a choreographer for Disney+’s Encore.  Director/Choreographer credits include 42nd Street (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre), A Chorus Line (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), Legally Blonde (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse), On the Town (Capital City Theatre) and Fallen Angel (New York International Fringe Festival).  Other Choreographer credits include productions at the Kennedy Center, Drury Lane Theatre, The Muny, Sacramento Music Circus, Signature Theatre, Gateway Playhouse and Des Moines Metro Opera.  As a performer, he was seen on Broadway in 42nd Street, La Cage aux Folles, A Chorus Line and Ragtime and Off-Broadway in Cagney, Seussical and The Awesome 80's Prom.  Josh graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.  @thejoshwalden

Colin K. Bills (Lighting Designer) (he/him) is delighted to light live theater once again! At Olney, he has designed numerous productions; his favorites include Once, The Amateurs, Colossal, Mary Stuart, and Venus. He is a Company Member and Board Member at Woolly Mammoth where he has designed over 50 productions including the recent streaming production of Hi Are You Single and is a member of the company’s EDI Working Group. He was a founding member of the devised theater troupe dog & pony dc, serving as director, writer, actor, and designer for a dozen new works including A Killing Game and Beertown. Colin is the recipient of a Princess Grace Award and three Helen Hayes Awards. He has taught design at Howard University and is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

She has an MFA in design from the University of Maryland, College Park.
